Angular Contact Ball Bearing

Angular contact ball bearing is non-separable bearing which has an angle between the races and the balls when the bearing is in operation.

With raceways both in the inner and outer rings, angular contact ball bearings are suitable for acting radial and axial loads. This axial load carrying capacity increases with increasing contact angle.

Most HPG Angular Contact Ball Bearings are fitted with a one-piece polyamide cage. Steel and brass cages are available as standard. Other materials are available on demand.

Angular contact ball bearings are suitable for applications which require high accuracy and good high-speed performance.

The larger the contact angle (typically in the range 10 to 45 degrees), the higher the axial load supported, but the lower the radial load.
